NGO that educates children and adults in Cambodia. For a brighter future and a life without poverty.

Smiling Gecko Switzerland (SGS) is a non-profit organization and strives to support, initiate and operate charity projects for families and village communities in South East Asia, by campaigns, financial means and onsite-work- always considering aspects of sustainability and ecology; and establish contact between such projects (and the relevant organizing institutions) and potential donors. In Cambodia, Smiling Gecko Cambodia is newly founded and operating various projects.

Sreymey used to be a street cook. Now she's part of the team at chef Mariya's fine dining restaurant in our Farmhouse Resort. Mariya discovered her and has been training and looking after her ever since.

Given this level of training and care, she has every right to dream big. We'll support her every step of ther way.

Her vision for the future? A bakery of her own. Her name above the door.

That's what "Talking the Future" is about: listening to what really moves people on our campus. For SOY RUN, it's an oven that might one day be hers.

Oeum Kong works at our MEP team. His daughter is a student at our kindergarten, just steps away from where he works. His hope for her: that she becomes a doctor one day. What she says when we ask her about her own dreams, you'll find out in the video.
