🇨🇭 Thinking about studying in Switzerland? 🎓
From Bachelor’s admissions to Master’s programs and PhD opportunities, navigating the Swiss university system can look very different depending on your academic path.
On October 18, YPSA hosted “Coming Home to Study: Swiss Universities from Three Angles,” bringing together three speakers who shared their personal experiences, practical advice, and lessons learned.
🎓 Carlos Martínez (HSG) shared his journey from Mexico to the University of St. Gallen, including the ECUS entrance exam and Bachelor’s admission requirements.
🌍 Jialu Zuo (UNIGE) explored dual-degree Master’s programs, opportunities in International Geneva, and adapting to Swiss academic and cultural life.
🔬 Lou Kohler Voinov (EPFL) offered insights into pursuing a PhD in Switzerland, from finding research opportunities and approaching professors to understanding funded doctoral positions.
💡 The biggest takeaway? There is no single path to studying in Switzerland. Research your options, prepare early, and reach out to universities directly!
