I have personally chosen to continue my journey on my own, allowing everyone to follow their own path.
This feels right for me and I genuinely wish her nothing but the best and great success.

And no matter what, she will always remain my bestie.

No 😊 I’m not Nigerian.
I’m a proud Serbian woman 💪🇷🇸 but Nigeria lives in my heart ❤️

I have so much love and respect for the people, the culture and the spirit.
But in my next life, I would love to be an Igbo woman 😄🇳🇬

I don’t have just one regret. Like everyone, life taught me lessons through pain.

My greatest regret is not always listening to my inner voice sooner.
Sometimes I trusted situations, people or timing more than my own intuition.

Life taught me that time is precious, moments are fragile and love should never be postponed.
Today I try to live differently, I say what I feel, I show love openly and I don’t wait anymore.

That’s actually a very beautiful and funny question 😊

I will answer honestly and with respect. I don’t like putting people, countries or cultures into one box, because good and bad people exist everywhere.

Before my husband, I had relationships with a Serbian man and a Swiss man. Those relationships simply were not right for me at all. I also had very difficult experiences in the past and like many women, I know what pain and disappointment can look like.

With my husband, I experienced something completely different.

I have never felt this level of understanding, love, patience, support and joy before. We laugh together so much that I cry from laughter, can’t breathe anymore and feel stomach pain.
He stands by my side in hard times, not only in good moments and that shows true character.

I know there are many stereotypes on the internet, especially about Nigerian men, but I always say, you cannot judge a whole nation by stories or social media. What matters is the person God places in your life.

I truly feel blessed 🙏
And YES 😊 my husband is the man I prayed for, not because he is my husband, but because he is kind, supportive, loving and present.

I thank God for him every day 🙏❤️

Work–life balance is honestly very difficult for me.
I often reach my limits because I carry many responsibilities. I work three jobs, I‘m a wife, and I also take care of my mother at home. She is a stroke survivor and lives with dementia. On top of that, there is the household and everyday life.

At the beginning, I was very overwhelmed. It was not easy at all. But I am very grateful for my husband. He is my biggest support. I truly believe that when you have the right partner by your side, someone who understands and supports you, you can find balance, even in very hard situations.

Of course, balance does not mean everything is perfect. It means learning to take small moments for yourself. Even if it is just a few minutes a day, you must protect that time. Resting, breathing, doing something small you enjoy, this is very important. Otherwise, you break.

Caring for someone who is dependent on you, especially with dementia, is very demanding. Anyone who does this understands how heavy it can be. That is why self-care and support are not optional, they are necessary.

Balance is something I work on every day. It is not easy, but with love, understanding and support, it becomes possible.

My motivation comes from my parents and their life stories.
My mother experienced hunger as a child. There were times she fainted because there was no food. My grandmother sometimes searched for food in waste containers just to feed her.

My father also had a very hard childhood. He slept in the forest and lived on the streets because his parents could not take care of him. One day, a stranger took him in, without knowing him and gave him a chance for a better life.

Growing up with these stories stayed very deep inside my heart. I can’t say I know that kind of life, but I saw the pain my parents went through. Because of that, I can’t look away when I see people suffering, especially children and people without food or a home.

Helping others is not something I force myself to do. It is simply part of who I am.

Daalu nwaanyị mara mma 🌸

😂 Unfortunately no, I don’t really speak Igbo.
I know some words and a few basic sentences, the most common ones, but I can’t hold a full conversation yet. Igbo is a very, very difficult language for me 😅

I’m still trying… but honestly, I don’t know if I will ever master Igbo in this lifetime 😂

When my husband tries to teach me, 90% of the time he just starts laughing at my pronunciation, and then we’re back to zero again 😄

The first time I tried to say Jollof Rice, he recorded my pronunciation 😂 and for days I could hear him in another room listening to the recording and laughing.

I know a little, but I still have a looong way to go ❤️

I‘m a trained medical assistant (doctor’s assistant).
I have worked in a hospital before and during the pandemic I worked in healthcare and also continued my education.

Currently, I work in a private medical practice.

In addition to that, I‘m also a trained wellness massage therapist. I used to work part-time in a hotel spa as a wellness masseuse.

To support myself and my family, I also deliver food in the evenings after my main job.
And on weekends, I work in a hotel, doing cleaning and dishwashing.

I believe in honest work, hard work and doing what is necessary.
