CreativeMornings is a free, monthly breakfast lecture series for creative communities. Each event is free, and includes a 20 minute talk, plus coffee! vorträgt.

2008 startete Tina Roth Eisenberg als Bloggerin "swissmiss" mit CreativeMornings in NYC. Mittlerweile gibt es die CreativeMornings in über 200 Städten weltweit. Die monatlichen Frühstücksvorträge richten sich an Kreative und Leute auf der Suche nach Inspiration, sind kostenlos und Kaffee/Gipfeli werden offeriert. Pro Monat wird weltweit ein Thema vorgegeben zudem eine spannende Person aus deiner

Stadt 20-30 min. Der CreativeMorning findet jeweils am letzten Freitag des Monats von 8.00-9.15 h (oder wer mag länger) statt. Der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm – sei dabei.

Fresh coffee, inspiring design, and Friday morning creative energy - what more could you need?

For this month’s CreativeMornings Basel, we are gathering at the incredible Silo Design & Boutique Hostel ! Located in the Erlenmatt district, this beautifully renovated historic building pairs raw industrial charm with award-winning design. It’s so much more than a place to stay. Its café and cultural space act as a vibrant crossroads where locals and travellers meet, making it the perfect example of how to creatively rethink and breathe new life into a space.

We can’t wait to explore this venue together and hear from our guest speaker, Tilla Künzli .

What if creativity starts right where others see rubbish?

Join us for a morning with Tilla Künzli, a Basel-based artist and activist. Through her project Stielbruch , Tilla creates gorgeous bouquets using local green waste and secondhand materials, showing us how a circular model can turn everyday waste into art.

We are gathering at the beautiful Silo Design & Boutique Hostel in Erlenmatt for fresh inspiration, great conversations, coffee, and local Mimmis Kombucha .

Our May’s theme is CREATE.

A theme that feels especially relevant in a time where ideas move fast, tools evolve daily, and creativity is no longer limited to traditional creative roles.

Chosen in collaboration with and illustrated by Ana Grigorovici, the theme invites us to think about what it means to create: not just art or content, but conversations, opportunities, communities, solutions, and momentum.

Creation often starts small: with a question, a sketch, a first draft, a new perspective. But those small acts can lead to meaningful change and connection.

Was für ein inspirierender Morgen im Socin Haus ()! Für unser April-Thema EMBER (dt. Glut) hätten wir uns keinen passenderen Ort wünschen können. In diesem generationenübergreifenden Begegnungsort haben wir gespürt, wie Gemeinschaft die Glut am Leben erhält.

Ein riesiges Dankeschön an unsere Speaker Petra Heid und Lukas Moser vom eKô Kollektiv (eko_kollektiv). Gemeinsam haben sie uns mit auf eine Reise durch die Welt des Kaffees genommen und uns gezeigt, dass echte Nachhaltigkeit keine lodernden Flammen braucht. Stattdessen sind es die Beständigkeit, die tiefe Resilienz und die langfristigen Partnerschaften, die in globalen Lieferketten echten Wandel bewirken.

Zwischen dem Duft von frisch gebackenen Gipfelis und bestem Bio-Kaffee wurde deutlich: Wer eine Vision langfristig nähren will, braucht einen langen Atem und eine starke Community. Es war wunderbar zu sehen, wie aus den Impulsen von Petra und Lukas lebhafte Gespräche und neue Verbindungen entstanden sind.

Danke an alle, die dabei waren und ihre Energie mit uns geteilt haben.

Wir freuen uns schon riesig auf das nächste Mal!
