When we sat down with our global partner to choose this month's CREATE theme, we knew our community was creative. But honestly? We didn't expect the room to be this electric before 8:00 AM.
Last Friday, Silo Design & Boutique Hostel was packed and the energy was incredible right from the start.
The absolute highlight was our speaker, Tilla Künzli. Tilla shared the raw, inspiring story behind her project, Stielbruch . From her roots in climate activism to taking a massive leap of faith that paid off beautifully.
She brought one of her signature bouquets made entirely from charity shop finds and green waste from local compost heaps. Her circular approach is completely disrupting the global flower industry, so much so that she’s now designing for high-profile clients like the Kunstmuseum !
Because her project is so innovative, the crowd’s curiosity went through the roof. The Q&A session felt like it could have gone on forever, with everyone asking about logistics, sustainability, and scaling up. In fact, the networking went way past the scheduled finish line because nobody wanted to leave 🧡
