May the music, prayer, and the message of our celebration gently lead us to the Manger, providing rest and renewal for all.
We invite you to prepare a few simple things
to enhance our shared moment:
A Candle: Please have a candle ready. We ask you to light it and sit with only the candlelight before you log in. As we begin our session, we will ask everyone to turn off their electrical lights, allowing only the candle to shine.
This Advent tradition symbolizes the Light of the World coming into the darkness.
Gives us also the opportunity to acknowledge those among us who are experiencing war, physical suffering, or deep soul pain, and we will begin our time by praying for them.
Christmas decoration: If possible, please feel free to decorate your background or let us see your Advent wreath! We certainly don't want you to stress about it, but it would be wonderful if our screens could reflect a celebratory and seasonal mood.
