A New Chapter Beyond the Finish Line

The INA KESS Animal Foundation supports Zweites Leben für Sportpferde, an organization dedicated to the well-being of former sport horses after their athletic careers end.
The association accompanies horses and their owners through the transition from high-performance sport to a horse-appropriate life focused on trust, balance, and well-being. Through education, professional guidance, and responsible rehoming, they create sustainable perspectives for horses shaped by years of physical and mental demands.
Their work raises awareness for the specific needs of former sport horses and promotes long-term, respectful solutions.
Because a horse’s value does not end when competition does. 🐎

Standing Up for Hedgehogs in Switzerland
The INA KESS Animal Foundation supported Pro Igel to protect hedgehogs in Switzerland.
Hedgehogs have lived alongside humans for millions of years, yet today they are increasingly at
risk.
Pro Igel works to protect hedgehogs by making everyday dangers visible: from traffic and
robotic lawn mowers to sealed gardens and pesticide use.
The organization focuses on prevention through education, clear guidance, and science-based
information. With nationwide awareness campaigns, rescue support, and a national hedgehog
helpline, Pro Igel empowers people to act correctly when hedgehogs are in need. Their work
creates long-term protection for hedgehogs and the habitats they depend on.🦔🤍

A Safe Place to Land
We proudly supported Tierschutzverein Schwyz with a donation to strengthen local animal welfare in the Canton of Schwyz.
Local animal welfare starts where help is needed every single day.
is responsible for animal welfare across the Canton of Schwyz and has been doing so for decades.
At the center of their work is Tierheim Burg, the only cantonal animal shelter, offering dogs and cats a safe, caring temporary home.
Beyond the shelter, the association focuses on
prevention through cat neutering programs and hands-on wildlife protection. Their calm, solution-oriented approach creates sustainable impact for animals; locally and long term. 🐾🤍

Small gift, big impact 🐾🤍
Some cats are overlooked simply because they need a little more care.
Handicapcats.ch is dedicated to supporting cats with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and special needs that make them difficult to rehome.
Run entirely by volunteers, the organization provides foster care, veterinary-supported treatment, neutering programs, and ongoing care for outdoor cat colonies across Switzerland.
For cats who cannot be adopted, their refuge offers a safe, permanent home where dignity, cleanliness, and daily comfort are essential parts of care. The INA KESS Animal Foundation is proud to support this compassionate work that gives vulnerable cats not just care, but a life worth living.

In October 2024, the INA KESS Animal Foundation found a new home for Clara, Peggy, and Erwin, the three once-abandoned cats. Now, they look ahead to a bright future shared with a variety of other animals on a farm nestled close to the INA KESS Atelier. Surrounded by open fields and the warmth of a welcoming sanctuary, these resilient felines can finally enjoy the comfort and care they deserve.
