SERENA🎉
Some adoptions make us even happier and Serena’s one is one of them❤️ We got her out last year from a shelter together with Morgan and Cherry (both are adopted) Serena had a owner before most probably used for breeding then dumped in a shelter, the shelter vet said she was 2yo but she was older than that, we thought she was around 5-6yo. When Christophe Durand came to Izmir from Greece to meet our dogs, he was particularly keen on Serena so after some consideration he and his partner decided to adopt her. We prepared her documents and Christophe came again to Çeşme to pick her up. They were traveling so Serena started her journey to Greece then Italy then France and finally Geneva😊 They took her to a vet and learnt that she was in good health but actually 10yo! They did not complain or wanted to give up on her, instead they said she will spend her last years with them in love🙏 We cannot thank the couple enough to give Serena this second chance… The little Nikki will join them later when she is ready😊

Their lives weren’t taken by a disaster like an earthquake or a fire; they were condemned to death by human hands two years ago.⁠

Two years have passed since they were systematically rounded up from the streets and parks under the “Street Animals Protection Law” and confined to so-called “shelters”.⁠
⁠
While many were caught, just as many breathed their last in these shelters. According to official statements, 92.5% of the dogs living on the streets are no longer with us.⁠
⁠
Their paw prints are in our hearts and on the fading stones of the parks.⁠
⁠
We are very sad. We haven’t forgotten.

STELLA🎉
Hers was a long journey with ups and downs but now Stella is at home in ❤️
She was trying to live in a junk yard last year then an animal lover rescued her but she had no place to go so we got her. A couple from Switzerland was travelling on a van and wanted to meet some of our dogs, they felt in love with Stella😊 We thought all was fine and she can finally leave the boarding facility and start her new life but no… At the final control unfortunately we detected a vaginal tumor, she needed at least 4 more weeks for treatment, her new family had their visa ending around the same time, we did not know how long exactly it will take, it was complicated and stressful but they did not give up on her or change their mind instead they changed their plans and waited for Stella. The day before their visa ended we managed to arrange all and sent them off with her🙏 They travelled 2 more months via Greece and Italy finally they arrived home last week. Stella is doing great and in good health🙏

RACHEL ADOPTABLE🍀
In March we took out some dogs from Özdere shelter, one of them was Rachel. She was recently abandoned there by her so called “family” and she looked so sad and confused😔 Luckily we got her on time so she was healthy. Rachel is 2yo, spayed 9kg her height is 29cm. She is a lively, social little girl who loves to play with other dogs and adores hugs🥹 If you want to adopt her please send us an application form online or contact us at [email protected]

BEAR ADOPTABLE🍀
In January we rescued two dogs from a shelter in Manisa - Cassie and Bear, both tested positive for Heartworm disease… We provide the special medication and did their treatment, it takes months but with the right protocol we have a great rate of success with this disease🙏 Cassie found a home and flew to Germany recently. Now it is time for this little guy to go😊 Bear is 2yo, 6,5kg neutered, his weight is 25cm so a cabin size dog. He is calm, gets along with other dogs, house broken, no barking issues. A NEW RESCUE - MILES🤍🖤
We saw his video from a post in Selen Örnek page , he was begging to get out of the shelter’s cage. We still cannot rescue much these days but sometimes it is so hard to say no😔 So we sent the pet transfer and Miles was taken out🙏 He is such a wise little guy who knows that his life is about to be transformed😊 Luckily he tested only positive for erlishia which is easily treatable. After couple of days in the clinic he will go to the boarding facility. Miles is around 3yo and 8,5kg🥹 There are so many like him waiting to be rescued but unless we have clinic and boarding sponsors we cannot take more out… If you want to contribute to his rescue journey we would really appreciated🙏 Contact us at [email protected]

She was rescued from Edirne shelter more than a year ago by Patilere.acil.yuva but they weren’t able to find her a home in Istanbul so she came to us couple of months ago. We first found her a foster home in (they are the parents of Ela the cat😊) and once she is in there it didn’t take long for this sweet girl to find her forever home❤️ Thank you everyone who helped her in this journey🙏 Be happy Juno, we love your new name🥰

DAKOTA🎉
It took a while but finally we are pleased to announce that Dakota is at home🙏 She needed time to settle in her new environment and patience from her new family. So many people helped us by fostering her by sharing her ads so thank you all❤️
And Dakota’s case shows us again and again how important it is when you adopt a dog to give him/her some time, be patient and follow your heart - the reward at the end is priceless 🐾🤍🐾

More summer photos to share this month😊 Our furry friends are enjoying their summer days in different locations- some swim in the sea, some are happy in the mountains or relaxing in the garden… Thank you Pawparents for sending us these gorgeous photos🙏 Nothing motivates us more than seeing tails wagging happily❤️

MAVI FINALLY🎉
Yes it took almost a year to find a home for this breathtakingly beautiful creature! Hard to believe but that’s the reality we face with big breeds… Last summer Mavi was taken to Van shelter with her puppies (or gave birth there) by the time we saw her post together with Mina, the puppies were all gone😔 We brought both girls to Izmir, it took months for them to find homes. Finally after Mina, Mavi also got adopted by Deniz who already adopted Marla and Lola from us😊 Mavi flew to last week and she is doing great with her 3 new sisters🧿
Last photo is not her! That’s a recent photo of another husky girl from Van shelter, we named her Yuna🍀 She is out now, waiting for a flight volunteer to come to Izmir🙏 Nobody does anything about the breeders who bred, sell and abandon the ones left, all they do is to kill innocent animals in the shelters…
