What a way to begin our visit to Bana Mayele. 🇨🇩

Our first day in Kinshasa was marked by a huge community celebration at the center — filled with music, laughter, dancing, games, and above all, so many happy faces.

For us, these moments are about much more than a celebration.

They are a reminder of what can grow when a community is given space, support, and opportunity.

Over the past years, Bana Mayele has become a place where children can learn, play, develop their talents, and simply enjoy being children. Seeing the center full of energy, surrounded by families, teachers, friends, and supporters, was deeply moving.

To everyone who has supported this project: these smiles are part of your impact.

Your generosity has helped create a place that is not only about education, but also about belonging, dignity, joy, and hope for the future.

For over ten years, together with Deaf Reach Pakistan, we have supported deaf children who might otherwise be excluded from education.

Today, those children are learning, gaining skills, building confidence — and shaping their own futures.

This is what long-term commitment looks like.

Homes of Hope

In Lilongwe currently 3 homes — one for girls, one for boys & one for babies — give former street kids a new start. 🌍
The kids now attend school, make friends, and dream big.
Their lives aren’t easy, but they finally have something priceless: hope. 💛
