IMPORTANT NOTICE
On 21st April 2026, the leadership of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) engaged the Ministry of Health (MoH), Human Resource Department, on a number of concerns, including:
1. Payment of salary arrears for the 2020 year group.
2. Rotation allowance for the 2023 resit batch
3. Challenges with the current recruitment process
This communication addresses Point 3: Challenges with the Recruitment Process, as reported through the GRNMA Google Form used to gather concerns from applicants.
The Ministry of Health clarified that the ongoing verification process currently applies to qualified applicants from the 2020 second batch and the 2021 main group.
At the time of the engagement, updates had been made to the system data. Qualified applicants are therefore encouraged to verify their details from this evening until tomorrow morning, using the MoH video guide to correctly input their information (NMC PIN, AIN, or school index number).
The following key points were established:
• A call center may be available for qualified applicants who encounter challenges during the process.
• Qualified Applicants with challenges can report directly to the HR Department of the Ministry of Health with their documents for assistance.
The HR Department emphasized that the verification and application timelines will be strictly adhered to. Applicants are therefore advised to follow the schedule accordingly.
The HR Department further assured leadership of its continued support in addressing all concerns.
The leadership of GRNMA expresses its sincere appreciation to the Director of Human Resources, Ministry of Health for his continuous support to resolve all pending issues.
