A devoted mother, a caring friend, and 365 days of true freedom! ♥️

Happy ONE YEAR OF SOBRIETY to Mackenzie! 1️⃣ 👏 🥳

Mackenzie is a caring friend, a devoted mother, and a loving daughter. She pursues excellence in everything she does, loves with her whole heart, and is determined to build the life she knows she is entirely worthy of.

Mackenzie has such a special way of encouraging the women around her. She is the definition of a “girl’s girl”—always cheering others on, showing up for her friends, and making everyone around her feel warm, welcomed, and loved.

Watching her grow, heal, and continue becoming the woman she was always meant to be has been such a gift. One year of sobriety represents so much courage, hard work, perseverance, and choosing a better life one single day at a time.

Congratulations, Mackenzie! We are so incredibly proud of you and cannot wait to see what this next year holds!

She faced her hardest season sober, rebuilt her family, and is officially 1 Year Free! 🙌

Congratulations, Gabrielle, on one year of continuous sobriety! 🎉 That is one whole year of freedom, growth, healing, and learning to trust God through every step of the journey.

Gabrielle took a courageous step of faith when she traveled all the way from North Carolina to commit herself to healing and recovery. Since entering the program, she has embraced the opportunity to completely transform her life, showing us all what Radical Life Change truly looks like.

One of the things Gabrielle treasures most is being a dedicated mother. Through her recovery, she has worked hard to restore and strengthen her relationships with her children. Her sobriety has given her the opportunity to be fully present, building a healthier future for herself and her family. She has also worked incredibly hard to build a successful career, recently earning a promotion to Service Desk Lead—just another beautiful example of the positive changes she is making in every area of her life.

Her commitment to her faith, her recovery, and the women around her has also allowed her to step into leadership. As a House Manager, she gets to encourage and support other women walking their own paths to recovery.

This spring, Gabrielle faced one of the most difficult seasons of her life when her father passed away. She was able to travel home, spend precious time with him on hospice, and be entirely present for her family during a heartbreaking season. Gabrielle never imagined she would be able to face the loss of her father, let alone walk through that grief completely sober. But she did it.

Gabrielle, your story is a beautiful reminder that recovery is about so much more than simply getting sober. It is about becoming the woman God created you to be, restoring what was broken, walking through hard things with courage, and building a life worth protecting.

We are so incredibly proud of you! Keep going, keep trusting, and keep shining. Happy 1 year!

Celebrating HIA graduation in Tulsa! Massive shoutout to Dee and Katie on this incredible milestone! 👏

From passing the mic to speak life over the grads, to uniting alumni, residents, and our newest graduates to sing “Lean on Me” together, tonight was all about radical life change!

WE LOVE YOU, LADIES! ♥️

When addiction strikes, churches shouldn't have to turn people away. ❤️‍🩹

Before joining HIA as our Community Development Coordinator, Mary Beth spent 10 years as a pastor fielding late-night crisis calls. Even her own husband was terrified the church would reject him in his addiction—today, he is 4 years sober! 🙌

Now, she helps us fill that gap. We’re honored to partner with ARC and Heights Church to equip pastors nationwide with the resources they need. 🤝⛪️

What does it take to see a thriving church in every single community? Intentional partnership. 🤝

Hope is Alive is honored to partner with ARC, an organization on a mission to empower and encourage church planters across the country. Being able to share in community, deep teachings, and continuous learning from pastors nationwide is an incredible blessing for our team.

In return, we get to share the radical life change taking place at Hope is Alive… reaching rooms and people that were previously impossible to reach!

Thank you for having us, Heights Church, and thank you, ARC, for pouring into the next generation of churches to come.

Together, we are seeing lives transformed.

92 players, one HOT day, and an unforgettable debut in Greenville! 🙌🔥

Our first annual Hope Invitational on Sept. 21st was a massive success! We loved bringing this event to the Greenville market and hitting the stunning fairways at the prestigious Brook Valley Country Club.

To the 23 teams, our generous sponsors, and the incredible volunteers who kept things running smoothly in the sun—THANK YOU!

Swipe for the highlights and keep an eye out for next year’s date! 👀⛳️

From fighting for her own recovery to paving the way for the women coming in behind her! 🎉 Let's celebrate Katie's 1-Year milestone! 1️⃣ ♥️

Help us celebrate our very own Katie Reschke on ONE whole year of sobriety! Katie has blown us away from the very beginning. She came into HIA with strength, determination, and a commitment to never return to her old life. Since then, she has truly shown us what radical life change looks like through the way she lives and loves others.

This girl has one of the biggest hearts you will ever meet. She has been leading from the middle in our North Carolina home—guiding others, setting an example, and paving the way for the newer girls coming in. Her kindness and willingness to walk alongside others make such a beautiful difference in our home.

Katie, we are so proud of you, the hard work you have been putting into your recovery, and the hope you are sharing with others along the way. Keep moving forward!

Leading from the middle and pouring into his brothers! 🙌 Help us celebrate Nat on 3 YEARS of continuous sobriety! 3️⃣ 🥳 👏

Congratulations, Nat, on three whole years of continuous sobriety!! The growth and strength you have shown during your time in the program has been an amazing thing to watch and learn from. God is undeniably working in your life, your family's life, and in the lives of the men who get to be around you.

Nat has been a great brother, always willing to listen when the guys in the home need it the most. The amount of time he dedicates to helping others—even with his own busy schedule—just shows how big of a heart he has for his new brothers. Nat is someone everyone can learn from, showing his selflessness daily as he welcomes the newer guys walking into the homes. Whether it is giving rides to meetings, sharing a meal, or simply being a safe place to vent after a hard day, Nat consistently shows up. He is truly a man who leads from the middle, constantly pushing other men closer to God.

Nat, keep pushing forward, keep your hands off the wheel, and let God continue working in your life. Your family is beautiful proof of what He can do when you consistently take the actions to seek Him.

From every supporter, brother, and staff member in Tulsa—we are so proud to call you our friend. Happy 3 years, Nat, and may God bless you with many more!!!
