Whenever I see a cashier having a tough day, I always look at the candy section and ask them, “I'm having trouble deciding. What's your favorite?” I buy their favorite candy, then hand it to them afterward and express my heartfelt appreciation for them, encouraging them to have a great day! Seeing their face light up never fails to inspire me. It's my small yet mindful way to spread kindness, even though I’m struggling myself, helping other folks smile and making their day a little better, which really makes me feel better too.
