❤️ To Our Loving Community ❤️

We wanted to give everyone an update on our 19-year-old young man.

He is safely settled into a hotel for the week, and today we took another important step forward. We went shopping with him for clothing and groceries, making sure he has some of the things he needs while we work on getting him back on his feet.

Our next goals are getting him a job and then securing him an apartment of his own. He is a determined, goal-driven young man, and if you know of a job opening where someone is willing to give a hardworking 19-year-old a chance, he is your guy!
His dream has always been to become an EMT/firefighter. He has talked about this goal since he was just a little boy. Once he gets his driver's license, we are hoping to help him get connected with a local fire department where he can begin volunteering and start taking steps toward that dream.

❤️ To Our Loving Community ❤️

We have a 19-year-old young man who is desperately in need of our help.

He has aged out of foster care, and unfortunately, the foster family he was placed with is refusing to give him his ID, Social Security card, and birth certificate—documents he needs to move forward and build a stable life.

He is currently staying in a place where he is experiencing physical and verbal abuse. 211 placed him in an adult shelter, but after experiencing something horrific there, he is now terrified to return to a shelter. As a result, he went back to the environment where he is being abused because he simply doesn't feel safe anywhere else.

No 19-year-old should have to choose between being abused and being afraid to sleep somewhere else.

This young man is working and trying to get on his feet, but he has only recently started his job and hasn't received an income yet. He is on the verge of becoming homeless.

We are asking our community to please come together and help us get him into a safe hotel room for one week while we work on finding a more permanent and safe solution for him.

We don't need to solve his entire life today.

We just need to help keep him safe tonight. ❤️

To our loving community,

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all of your incredible love, generosity, and support during today's outreach.

Because of your kindness, we were able to feed more than 400 of our most vulnerable neighbors. We even had to stop and purchase more lunch meat, cheese, bread, and chips so we could continue making sandwiches for everyone in need.

We choose to do our outreach on Sundays because there is no regular dinner outreach available that day, and we want to make sure no one is forgotten or goes hungry.

None of this would be possible without each and every one of you. Your compassion reaches far beyond a meal—it reminds people that they are seen, valued, and loved.

We are reaching out today to ask for your help for a local family who experienced a catastrophic flood that began last night and continued through much of today. Sadly, they lost nearly everything in their basement, including an entire bedroom, a freezer, washer and dryer, clothing, bedding, and many personal belongings.

We are hoping our amazing community can come together once again to help this family begin rebuilding.
