Sisters in Action Sports "SAS" Grassroots non-profit, inspire, encourage & empower women & girls through participation action sports and outdoor adventure

We meet our mission by creating amazing affordable opportunities in snow, wake & kiteboarding, surf, Mountain biking, rock climbing, hikes, and skate events throughout the year. These opportunities draw hundreds of sisters of all ages and abilities to find their stoke, leadership skills, and strength through action sports. SAS provides opportunities for progression and support to first-timers who are just looking for a welcoming inclusive community. We've given clinics and community-building events to network sisters to each other and the results are beyond our wildest dreams. SAS offers scholarships and support to aspiring young athletes to achieve their goals. These experiences bring change and life skills that last a lifetime. The number of “Sisters” that have found strength and support through SAS is staggering. DONATIONS: “SAS” depends on the donations of individuals just like you. By supporting “SAS” you
are providing for the future of a SISTER.

Stoke in the Park Art Project is a SAS Initiative that we are very proud of and passionate about. Read more about it in the "about" section on the page.
We look forward to presenting new artists each year at our skate events. Enjoy....our 2026 artist "B".

Each year is unique in the opportunity to bring an artist to the Woodinville Art Wall for a live installation during the Woodinville Skateboard Challenge. 2026 was no exception. Inspired by the Sisters in Action Sports "SAS" Yeti, our graffiti artist, going by the name "B", created a piece that we think is brilliant. While skaters rolled out their finest interpretations of skateboarding art on the park, "B" carried spectators along as he brought this mural to life.
We want to thank "B" for his creativity and for bringing our Yeti to life. Here's to everything you haven't done YET!
Be watching .... a few of the last years art instillations will be coming out in sticker form.

We are always blown away by the great vibes and unity of the skate community that comes together each year to celebrate the love of skateboarding and community. Nothing beats a day of pizza, prizes, raffles, amazing sponsors onsite, live art on the mural wall, music and the constant stoke of our MC Sky Siljeg. Huge shout of to Ryan Wiseman for the filming and edit.

In the very roots of SAS there was a little girl Riley Hudson , first stepping onto a board with the crew at Stevens Pass . Getting to watch her grow up has been an honor. Once we inspired her, but she's taken everything she's learned to another level and is now SAS legend material. Keep your eyes on her. Courage and determination are running in her blood.

Nater and Riley are connected by a deep bond, formed through tragic loss. They’re strengthening it in the pursuit of reaching the Freeride World Tour, and ultimately, the Olympics.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on May 28 for the second Community Open House for the Wayne Open Space Action Plan! It was great to connect and hear your ideas.

Couldn’t make it? You can view the full presentation and meeting materials on our project page: bit.ly/wayneopenspaceactionplan

We’re also excited to share that the second project survey is now open through June 28, 2026. Your feedback will help the City refine a preferred design concept as this unique open space continues to evolve. This is a great opportunity to tell us which features, improvements, and experiences matter most to you.
