🚗🚗 FREEDOM RIDE FOR HOPE! 🚗 🚗

After being hit by car, poor Hope found herself as an injured stray at animal control.. She was in immediate need of medical rescue and thankfully our friends at Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue heard her story and knew they had to help her!

The wonderful staff at Heart Of Georgia Animal Care stepped in to stabilize her injuries and treat her pain so that she could be transfered to orthopedic specialists in Atlanta for surgery.

BIG THANKS also go out to our volunteer transport driver, Kim, for making the drive with Hope up to Alpharetta!

Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue will need help with the cost of Hope's care so please keep an eye out for future fundraising posts, once they have an estimate on her surgery costs. Rescues cannot continue to save dogs like Hope without your support!

This isn't the update we wanted for our precious Sissy, but we will make sure she knows how much she's loved for whatever time she has left..

Please keep Sissy in your thoughts 🙏 and if you're able to help out our friends at Animal Rescue Foundation with the cost of her care please do so. Without your support, rescues cannot continue to save dogs like Sissy. 💗

💔 An Update on Sweet Sissy 💔

We wanted to share an important update about our precious girl, Sissy.

After receiving her pathology report, we have learned that Sissy has hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer for which there is sadly no cure. This is heartbreaking news for everyone who loves her.

Because of this diagnosis, Sissy will be staying right where she is — with her current foster — and will officially become a fospice case. She is comfortable, deeply loved, and surrounded by warmth and care. Our focus now is on giving her the very best days possible, filled with snuggles, favorite treats, and all the love her little heart can hold.

We want to say a big thank you for all of the love, support and prayers Sissy has received, as well as the donors that helped us to pay her vet bills so far. We have not yet recouped the expenses to our medical fund from her recent vet visits and diagnostics, so if anyone feels moved to contribute toward her care, it would mean so much and would help us continue saying “yes” to dogs like Sissy who need us most.

We don’t know how much time we have with her, but we do know that every moment will be cherished. Thank you for continuing to support Sissy and keeping her in your thoughts. ❤️

I’ve got that sun-kissed sandy coat that practically glows in the sunshine, and I absolutely know how to work my angles. But I’m more than just a pretty face — I’m a certified Ladies’ Man with a gentle heart to match.

I specialize in soft eye contact, polite sits, and leaning in close when you need a little comfort. I thrive in calm, peaceful homes with kind voices, cozy blankets, and plenty of feminine energy. I’m not the wild party type — I’m more of a “let’s relax on the couch and enjoy the quiet together” kind of guy.

Our sweet Sissy girl is suddenly not feeling well and currently at the emergency vet getting the care she needs to figure out what's going on.

🙏🐾 Prayers and good vibes needed!! Our sweet Sissy woke up not feeling well this morning so we monitored her for a while and decided that it was time to head for the emergency vet. She is not her wiggly, happy self. We are very worried and are at the emergency vet with her now. They are doing x-rays and blood work as we speak, and all we know so far is that she doesn't have bloat.

Sissy is such a good dog and has come so far since her last minute pull from the euthanasia list at our local animal control. Please share and if you are able to help us provide the emergencycare that she needs, we would be sooo appreciative! If not, just share and pray!!🐾🙏🙏

🩷🩵PUPPY SHOWER FOR SAGE 🩵🩷

Sweet Sage, was recently abandoned at the county shelter and found herself in desperate need of a safe place to land. Thankfully our friends at Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue were able to take Sage into their rescue family!

After working out a temporary foster situation, time came for her transport North and that's when Sage let us in on the secret she'd been keeping... she was expecting! 🐾

Now that she's only a week or so from delivery, please considering helping MAGSR, Sage and her future pups by checking out the remaining items on her "Puppy Shower" wishlist! Any items purchased will go directly to Sage and her foster family so that they can prepare to welcome puppies in the near future.

🎉🎉Community Outreach Day!!🎉🎉

This past Sunday, Friends of Baldwin County Animals, Animal Rescue Foundation, Inc. and Riverbend Jail Dog Program - Georgia along with our volunteers took to the streets of Milledgeville to try and make a difference in the lives of local dogs and cats!

🐾 Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, donors, and volunteers, we were able to provide support to 96 animals in our community. From dog houses and wheat straw to food and care items, so many pets received the care and comfort they needed before the incoming cold weather.

🐾 We also spent time talking with families about low-cost spay and neuter options and helping connect them with resources to keep their pets healthy and happy long-term. Education and access are everything, and we’re grateful to be able to offer that support.

🐾 This kind of work doesn’t happen alone. It takes neighbors looking out for neighbors, animal lovers lifting one another up, and a community that believes every pet deserves care!

🐾 Thank you again to our wonderful supporters who continue to show up and make a difference. Because of you, tails are wagging a little brighter today! 💛🐾
