The September 11 Foundation The September 11 Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to teaching students how to overcome adversity and challenge using lessons from 9/11.

We also provide continuing education to professional rescuers and corporate safety plans. Never Forget Foundation (NFF) is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to teaching students how to overcome adversity and challenge using lessons from September 11. Through a lecture series, community events, and other opportunities we share lessons on family, teamwork, preparedness, respect, and how to recognize a hero. We also run continuing education programs for physicians, nurses, and EMS in the areas of CPR and first aid, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, and PHTLS. We are also hoping to fully fund a scholarship program by 2020 to assist at-risk students who overcome their own adversity and challenge and contribute positively to their community.

Twenty-five years later, September 11 remains more than a date in history.

It reminds us of the people we lost, the first responders who ran
toward danger, the families who carried the loss forward, and the
Americans who came together when our country needed them.

But for millions of young Americans, September 11 is something they learned about in a textbook. They did not experience the uncertainty, grief, courage, or unity that followed.

That gives those of us who remember a responsibility.

We have to tell the stories. We have to teach the lessons. We have to help the next generation understand what service, courage,
preparedness, and community look like.

What is the most important lesson from September 11 that you believe we should pass on?
