Greetings to all,
“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
These words perfectly reflect my emotions as I conclude one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. From taking office as President on July 1, 2025, to completing an incredible Rotary year, this journey has been filled with learning, challenges, achievements, and unforgettable memories. While my tenure as President comes to an end, my commitment to the ideals of Interact will remain lifelong.
Serving as the President of the Interact Club of Matlab (2025–2026) has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Every meeting, every project, and every moment spent alongside my fellow Interactors has strengthened my belief that true leadership is about serving others with sincerity, dedication, and compassion.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every club member, board director, advisor, senior, and well-wisher who stood beside me throughout this remarkable journey. Your trust, encouragement, and unwavering support made every achievement possible. I am especially grateful to our sponsoring Rotary Club for believing in our vision and continuously guiding us toward excellence.
Together, we proudly accomplished:
• 14 Regular Meetings
• 3 Board Meetings
• 2 President’s Special Meetings
• 6 Official Club Visits
• 7 Club Service Activities
• 1 International Service Activity
• 11 Letterhead Exchanges
• 8 Social & Community Service Projects
• 18 New Member Inauguration Ceremonies
These numbers represent far more than statistics—they symbolize countless hours of teamwork, friendship, dedication, and service. Every initiative reflected our collective vision of creating a positive impact within our community and strengthening the bond of Interact.
Throughout this journey, I embraced every challenge with determination and remained committed to leading with integrity and excellence. The recognition and appreciation we received from fellow Interact and Rotaract clubs were truly humbling and motivated us to strive even further. More importantly, this year taught me invaluable lessons in leadership, teamwork, time management, communication, and decision-making—lessons I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
As I pass the responsibility to President-Elect Itr. Fahad Islam Rafa (2026–2027), I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes. I have every confidence that under your leadership, our beloved club will continue to grow, achieve greater milestones, and inspire even more young leaders. May your journey be filled with success, wisdom, and meaningful service.
To every member who walked beside me, thank you for believing in me, supporting my vision, and making this journey truly unforgettable. Every challenge we overcame, every smile we shared, and every project we completed together will forever remain among my most treasured memories.
Although my presidential chapter concludes today, my passion for service never will. Once an Interactor, always an Interactor.
Unity Brings Change 🕊️
With gratitude and warm regards,
Itr. Jaidul Islam Sami
President (2025–2026)
