Pupils and students can productively cope during Easter holidays by balancing rest with engaging activities like creative hobbies (baking, crafting), educational fun (reading, coding), and social bonding (playdates, Easter egg hunts). Structured downtime, including outdoor activities and light skill development, helps them unwind while staying active, reducing boredom and promoting personal growth.
Activities to Cope During Easter Holidays:
Creative and Skill-Building Projects: Encourage trying new hobbies like painting, playing instruments, or baking. Older students can focus on professional development, such as learning to code, engaging with online resources like LinkedIn Learning, or exploring financial literacy.
Active and Outdoor Fun: Organize Easter egg hunts, go on scavenger hunts, fly kites, or take trips to local zoos or parks.
Academic Maintenance (Balanced): Use the time for reading books outside the curriculum or reviewing areas of interest rather than strict studying.
Social and Emotional Connection: Plan playdates with friends or cousins to foster social skills, or involve children in practical home activities like cooking or home redecoration.
Rest and Unwinding: Ensure students have unstructured time to "switch off" from the school routine, allowing them to return refreshed.
For university or returning students, managing expectations regarding family dynamics and balancing rest with potential career-related networking or internships can help manage the transition back home.

🎒Back to school is a busy time for children and families. Please ensure the journey to school is a safe one!

🚸Pedestrians,
🚧Use the sidewalk when ever possible and if there is not a sidewalk, walk on the far edge of the street facing oncoming traffic.

👀Use marked cross walks to cross the street and look both ways for vehicles and cyclists before crossing.

❌Do not cross in the middle of the street go to the corner intersection or cross walk.

⚠️Never play or push others while walking in traffic

📵Watch the road not a phone or other distraction.
