SSAVI congratulations to all the blind footballers

Another huge step forward

Despite the challenges surrounding passport processing in South Sudan, today marked a proud milestone as the South Sudan Association of the Visually Impaired (SSAVI) officially handed over passports to the players and technical team of the South Sudan Blind Football team ahead of the IBSA Blind Football African Championship in Alexandria, Egypt.

These passports represent more than just travel documents, they are opening the door to an opportunity to compete on the continental stage and pursue qualification for the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

This milestone has been made possible through the support of Light for the World, with funding from the adidas Foundation under the United by Sport Project.
