Today 27/4/2025 *Human Rights Association of India, District Darjeeling Siliguri Unit* under the guidance of our District President Smt Roshan Dixit Chhetri organised a peaceful Candle March to pay tribute to all the innocent people who lost their lives in the terrorist attack in *Pahalgam Kashmir*
Along with us there were 12 different NGOS who participated in the rally.

In the exercise of the power conferred by *Section 36* of Street Vendors(*Protection of Livelihood & Regulation of Street Vendors*) Act ,2014 ( 7 of 2014 ) Siliguri Unit HRAI Darjeeling has undertaken the said project and did survey on 01/02/2025 at Parnami Mandir Road and have asked the hawkers to submit all relevant details along with a copy of their Aadhaar card to enable us to procure their Vendors Licence.

Human Rights Association of India, District Darjeeling,Siliguri Unit proudly announces that with the help of Howrah GRPF we were able to rescue a minor girl on the 3rd of January 2025 from being trafficed . The girl is now in safe hands and will soon be able to meet up with her family.
