Amazing low numbers of the population of wildlife dipping to less than 4% of all mammals with livestock topping over 60% and cattle the largest contributor.
Habitat destruction is one of the largest factor along with the trapping of furbearers. It is estimated 5 Million animals are taken annually by trappers with many more millions trapped by private land owners and federal agencies. We must stop the wanton killing of our wildlife. Do what you can to help wildlife.

These beagles are living their lives in traps. Do what you can to set them free.

A major step forward has been reached in a case that has drawn global attention.

Rescue organizations have secured an agreement with Ridglan Farms to transfer around 1,500 beagles into the care of animal welfare groups in Wisconsin, United States.

Groups including Big Dog Ranch Rescue and Center for a Humane Economy helped broker the deal after years of pressure, investigations, and public campaigns—some supported by Ricky Gervais.

The dogs will now receive medical care, vaccinations, and identification before being placed with adoption partners across the country. Many had spent their entire lives in confined indoor environments, making this transition a significant change.

While the agreement marks meaningful progress, attention is now turning to the remaining dogs not yet included, as advocates continue pushing for broader outcomes.

After years of advocacy and legal efforts, thousands of animals are beginning a new chapter.

What a waste of our wildlife. Trapping must be banned.

Trapping for 38 years. This trapper posted June 28 that he trapped 350 coyote, 200 to 300 mink, 1,000 to 1,500 c***s and other wildlife each year. He doesn't mention how many dogs cats, and endangered species his traps caught and he killed.

No animal should have to go thru the agony and pain this poor song dog experienced at the hands of a Pennsylvanian trapper.

This trapper took pictures while this song dog suffered while caught in his trap. You can just feel the agony of this poor animal. We need laws passed banning trapping in America. Trapping has no place in a civilized society...Help stop this cruelty. www.trapfreeamerica.org

Trapping is not hunting, it is not humane, it is not sporting and it never was meant to be. These toothed bear traps are illegal to use in most states but are still being made, bought and sold. They crush the bones, pulverize the flesh and destroy muscle tissue and kill the bear or anything caught in it's grasp. They can't be opened to release a victim without skills or a special tool.
The fact we still allow these traps to be made and bought and sold illustrates the public s lack of awareness when it comes to trapping.

402 Red foxes killed for $8.84, 68 mink killed for $6.49, 120 Raccoon for $3.41 and 15 cents for tails of squirrels. The furs shipped to Canada to go to China and Russia;: leaving a path of destruction to our ecosystems and beloved wildlife They also kill non targeted animals, pets, dogs, cats, eagles, birds and endangered animals paying no compensation or fines. This is so wrong,

This Pa. Trapper kills 150 foxes every year; he also stops the best rodent hunters by killing the foxes.

Each fox will eat over 3,000 rodents per season bring the total of over half a million rodents are now saved. Foxes are natures pest control.
