"WHAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS & HOW TO ADVANCE IT"

The Kingdom of God is God's eternal rule and reign breaking into the world through Jesus Christ, bringing salvation, justice, peace, and the restoration of all creation.

What the Kingdom of God Is:

• Not a physical territory: Jesus said His kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36); it is spiritual and internal.
• Already and not yet: It arrived with Jesus' first coming, but it will only reach full completion when He returns.
• Present in believers: Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God is within and among those who follow Him (Luke 17:21).
• Marked by core values: Paul describes it as righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).

How to Advance the Kingdom:

• Proclaim the Gospel: Share the good news of Jesus Christ with others through word and personal testimony.
• Love and serve others: Feed the hungry, comfort the brokenhearted, and care for the poor and marginalized (Matthew 25:40).
• Pray for it daily: Pray "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10).
• Live righteously: Obey God's commands and let your moral choices reflect His holy character.
• Pursue justice and peace: Stand up for the oppressed, forgive those who wrong you, and work as a peacemaker in your community.

Understanding The Prophetic Calling

The call of the prophet is a divine summons, a holy commissioning to stand as God’s mouthpiece. It is not a career choice but a sovereign election. Before birth, the prophet is ordained by God:

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." (Jeremiah 1:5, KJV)

The call of the prophet is sacred, requiring consecration, obedience, and a deep fear of the Lord. It is not a position of popularity but one of servitude, suffering, and absolute submission to God’s will.

The Divine Selection: Chosen Before Birth
Prophets are not self-appointed; they are divinely chosen. Throughout Scripture, we see that God calls prophets before they even take their first breath.
• Moses – Called at the burning bush (Exodus 3:2-4)
• Samuel – Called as a child (1 Samuel 3:10-11)
• Jeremiah – Knew his call from the womb (Jeremiah 1:5)
• John the Baptist – Filled with the Holy Spirit before birth (Luke 1:15)

God’s calling is irrevocable: "For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." (Romans 11:29, KJV)

The Prophetic Calling is Sovereign
A prophet cannot refuse their calling without consequence. Jonah attempted to flee from his prophetic assignment, yet God pursued him (Jonah 1:1-3). The prophetic calling is an unshakable mandate.

"For necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!" (1 Corinthians 9:16, KJV)

What It Means to Advance the Kingdom of God | Apostle Garner

**“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
— Matthew 6:10 (KJV)**

To **advance the Kingdom of God** means to help bring the rule, will, truth, and power of God into every area of life.

The Kingdom advances when people are saved, lives are transformed, the sick are ministered to, the broken are restored, truth replaces deception, and believers boldly represent Jesus wherever God has placed them.

Advancing the Kingdom is more than attending church. It means **taking the influence of Christ beyond the church walls**—into our homes, communities, businesses, schools, government, and culture.

Every believer has a part to play. Wherever God sends you, you are called to carry His presence, demonstrate His love, stand for His truth, and help others discover Jesus.

**Kingdom advancement happens whenever darkness loses ground and the will of God gains influence.**

**Kingdom Key:** *We are not called merely to occupy space; we are called to advance God’s purpose wherever He sends us.*
