A TRIUMPHANT RETURN TO GSNDA-NYUNDO SECONDARY SCHOOL, RWANDA !


We are incredibly excited to share a major victory for Human Rights Education in Rwanda!

The Rwanda Youth Clubs for Peace Organization, our local Youth for Human Rights chapter, successfully re-launched its Human Rights Campaign activities at GSNDA-Nyundo Secondary School on October 11, 2025.

For nearly seven years, our work at this vital location was paused. But thanks to the wonderful new school leader—described as humble, open, and positive—we were warmly welcomed back! We held a successful meeting where we shared our goals, and she enthusiastically introduced us to the student body.

The impact was immediate and powerful:

Attendance: We spoke to approximately 800 students—the entire school population!

Need: Many students had little to no prior awareness of their basic human rights, making this visit absolutely critical.

Response: The students were genuinely happy and highly appreciative of the booklets and essential human rights content we provided.

This relaunch marks a significant step forward in ensuring every young person in Rwanda knows their rights. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with GSNDA-Nyundo!

December 10, International Human Rights Day, today we celebrate the fundamental rights that unite humanity: freedom, equality, dignity and justice for all.

This day reminds us that all individuals have the right to live without distinction and with respect for their inalienable rights.
Let's work together for a fairer world, where human rights are not only recognized, but respected, protected and promoted.

Be an agent of change by respecting these principles and building a society of peace, harmony and inclusion.
