🇧🇫BURKINA FASO | First National Dodgeball Championship: A Historic Milestone for the Development of the Sport

The African Dodgeball Confederation (ADC) extends its heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to all the authorities, partners, and stakeholders who contributed to the outstanding success of the first-ever National Dodgeball Championship of Burkina Faso.

The Confederation expresses its deepest gratitude to Hon. Annick PIKBOUGOUM/Zingué Ouattara, Minister of Sports, Youth and Employment of Burkina Faso Ministère des Sports, de la Jeunesse et de l'Emploi, for her commitment, her presence at the final, and for officially launching this historic competition. Our sincere thanks also go to the Ministry of Basic Education, Literacy and the Promotion of National Languages, as well as to Mr. Abdoulaye Ouattara, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Sports , for their invaluable support.

The Confederation warmly thanks the official sponsor, SIBIRI ENERGY, ambassador of the WOLF brand, as well as WASSA BONDO, for their valuable contribution to the success of this championship. We also express our appreciation to Mr. Khaled Ben Salem , Secretary General of the African Dodgeball Confederation, and Mr. Abdelrahamane Annam Ali Soumana, President of the Niger Dodgeball Federation Fédération Nigérienne de Dodgeball - FENID , whose presence reflected the solidarity and unity of the African Dodgeball family.

The African Dodgeball Confederation pays special tribute to the exceptional work of Ms. Aminata Paré , President of the Provisional National Dodgeball Committee of Burkina Faso, Technical Director for Dodgeball Development in Africa, and West Africa Representative within the African Dodgeball Confederation. Through her outstanding leadership, dedication, and vision, Dodgeball in Burkina Faso has reached a historic milestone. In just two years, the country has successfully established a national structure, earned the title of African Vice-Champion, and organized its first National Championship, paving the way for the creation of a fully recognized National Federation.

The Confederation also congratulates SYA Olympic Club of Bobo-Dioulasso for becoming the first National Dodgeball Champion of Burkina Faso, a historic achievement that will forever be remembered in the country's sporting history.

Together, let us continue building a stronger, united, and more ambitious African Dodgeball movement.

Certificate Presentation Ceremony | WDBF Rules Training & Refresher Program 📌🇨🇮

This ceremony provided a valuable opportunity for the Ivorian Dodgeball Federation (FID) to recognize and celebrate the participants who successfully completed the Training and Capacity-Building Program on the Official Rules of the World Dodgeball Federation (WDBF).

By strengthening the knowledge and skills of athletes, coaches, referees, and officials, FID reaffirms its commitment to promoting excellence, professionalism, and the continued development of dodgeball in Côte d'Ivoire.

The African Dodgeball Confederation (ADC) welcomes the meeting between the Executive Committee of the National Conference of Sports Federations of Côte d'Ivoire (CONAFES-CI) and the Directorate General of Sports and Federal Life (DGSVF), highlighting the official presentation of CONAFES-CI and the strengthening of institutional dialogue.

The Ivorian Dodgeball Federation (FID) proudly serves as Deputy Secretary General of CONAFES-CI, reaffirming its commitment to promoting cooperation, good governance, and the development of sport in Côte d'Ivoire and across Africa.

On the occasion of France's National Day on 14 July 2026, the President of the Djiboutian Dodgeball Federation, Mr. Saïd Mahamoud Abdillaid, accompanied by the Federation's Treasurer, had the honour of meeting His Excellency the Ambassador of France to Djibouti.

This cordial meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views on the values of sport, international cooperation, and the future development of dodgeball in the Republic of Djibouti.

The Djiboutian Dodgeball Federation reaffirms its commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships in support of youth, inclusion, and the promotion of sport for all.
