RIGHTS ADVOCACY AND BETTER LIVELIHOODS.
we (BIDA) together with the concerned community and other stake holders, after changing altitudes of majority fisher folk towards the desired settled lifestyles in cherishing ideals of sustainable livelihoods, we registered increased access to HTC and ART services from established ART CLINICS for regular client counseling, blood tests and drug refills at all health units and extended outreach ART clinics to locations on Islands without health centers.
The continued interventions by coordinated partner and local government in providing agricultural advisory services improved seeds of crop and livestock, value addition technologies, enterprise diversification, aggro-processing, group marketing and micro credit services Food security and house hold incomes of people increased
Chalkier foundation and Transform Africa supported the Elimination of mother to child transmission of HIV/AIDS through their funding of projects.
