Cookie from Mariental is one of our recent AKI-Have a Heart-Namibia patients. She was attacked by dogs and her family rushed her to Dr Erna's clinic. Of course, we've worked with Dr Erna so often, she knew of the AKI-HaH Emergency Fund. And she knew Cookie's family couldn't afford the care that Cookie (a spayed cat) needed.
It didn't look good for Cookie. Her lungs had collapsed and her first night at the clinic was really tough. But she survived the night!
Later the next day, Cookie started accepting tiny amounts of food. Dr Erna said, "Cookie is fighting so hard."
During the 2nd night Dr Erna kept her in a box by her bed.
The next morning Cookie was feeling so much better! She stood up, she ate food on her own.
Cookie was on her way to a full recovery!
All thanks to Dr Erna and the AKI-HaH Emergency Fund.

A vegan education activity organized by the IPPE Asbl organization took place at EP Sayuni in the Kyeshero district in the city of Goma. This activity raised students' awareness of the importance of plant-based foods for health, the environment and well-being. animals. The students participated with interest and welcomed the message transmitted.

Given the way in which eating habits are evolving towards a more responsible and health-promoting mode of consumption; we IPPE Organization, organized an activity session ofawareness raising with a group of women to inform them and raise awareness about vegan food,
Concerns such as how to prepare simple, nutritious and accessible vegan meals and why eating vegan had been the key to the workshop, this contributed to improving the knowledge of the participants on veganisms also the motivation expressed by someparticipants to integrate vegan and/or plant-based dishes.

URGENCE
Alors que l' Asso IPPE. Initiative pour le Progrès et la Protection de l'Environnement, œuvre sans relâche dans des conditions très difficiles pour améliorer le sort des animaux en République démocratique du Congo, le local de l'association a été cambriolé.
Deux ordinateurs, un téléphone et une batterie de panneau solaire ont été dérobés.
Justin Lumoo Paluku, le président de l'association lance un appel d'aide pour acheter au plus vite un ordinateur pour continuer à faire vivre l'association.
Connaissant l'énorme travail réalisé par cette association sur le terrain, nous relayons cette cagnotte.
