Peace building team is a not for profit organization prouved in 2011 in the eastern of congo to inspire the spirit of fair-play for the humanity and helping vulnerable children to reach their dreams and become peacemakers. Children are the only who will provide straight to fight all kinds of violences which can destroy our lives. We lead activities to give a new image for the new generation with h

The eastern of DRC is the part most touched by the crisis with more than 1,6 million of victims and displaced flying armed conflicts.with this situation children are the most touched by these calamity because their parents are murdered and kidnapped also they struggle by living in dire conditions.many of the children in the eastern Congo cannot attend school,Eat food in bad conditions,struggle to be clothed and to find good shelters…
By their survival many of them are stressed and traumatized with all they have endured and feel neglected and despair without any possibility of self support. Peace Building Team as a charitable organization work for the empowerment also for the well being of those vulnerable children to find hope in their futures. We advocate for those children to find support with materials for our spiritual and psycho social activities on their behalf but also for their care.Their needs are categorized in so many ways and which are the following :
Clothes,School fees,Food,School objects,Professional and vocational trainings,Trauma counselling.These last will allow us doing our work in good conditions to help decrease the catastrophic situations that have endured our children for not being in the street hopeless and not being recruited by armed groups as child soldiers.All the ressources raised will be used for their care and empowerrment in the peace building process

We adopt directives to protect a child against detention and recruitment in the army groups and also their mistreatment. For girls peace building team fight sexual violence against women to facilitate them humanitarian access. We lead the youth in Leadership,English and Citizenship education before attending other programs. PBT provides sustainable life for vulnerable young peace builders,we take care of some children who are non-schooling and homeless by providing them school fees,medical care and food. PEACE BUILDING TEAM has an orphanage to help orphans and street children and we have an effiscient of more than 120 children(homeless and orphans).
