Call for Solidarity: a rolling chair to restore the right to education to La Petite Aubette

In Kala, in the Coline de Kala, saw Audette, a courageous and smiling girl, determined to continue her schooling despite the trials of life. Aged 11 and with motor disabilities, Audette dreams of going to school every day like other children her age. But this dream comes up against a harsh reality: it does not have a wheelchair.

Without this essential means of mobility, Audette is forced to stay at home. His family, living in a very precarious situation, does not have the financial means to buy a wheelchair. Every day, she watches the other children pass, schoolbag on her back, with a tight heart and her eyes filled with envy.

The association of children and young workers - AEJT -DRC is an urgent appeal for all people of good will, charitable organizations and humanitarian partners, to help Audette. An adapted wheelchair would not only allow this young girl to regain the way to school, but also to regain her dignity, her joy and her hope in a better future.

A gesture, an armchair, a transformed life.

Tamy, symbol of hope and inclusion school in the DRC

Sitting in her wheelchair, Tamy, a young girl full of courage, carefully follows her lessons in a classroom in Uvira, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Aged 9, Tamy has lived with an engine handicap since early childhood. But far from letting her handicap define her life, she embodies determination, dignity and hope for a better future.

Thanks to the support of the AEJT - DRC, which works for the inclusive education of children living with disabilities, Tamy was able to educate in an ordinary school. With her luminous smile and her lively mind, she overcomes physical and social barriers every day, demonstrating that education is a right for everyone, without exception.

His chair, although rudimentary, becomes a symbol of mobility and access to knowledge. Her bag on her knees and her pen in hand show that she is ready to learn, dream and succeed. The school environment, which is not very suitable, reflects persistent challenges: inaccessible infrastructure, lack of suitable equipment, and low awareness.

Tamy is more than a student: she is a living message. She embodies the call for truly inclusive education, where each child, whatever her handicap, has the opportunity to learn in dignity. His career challenges decision -makers, teachers and communities to work together to lift barriers and give everyone a chance.

Tamy deserves our admiration, but above all our commitment.

Marie è una bambina cieca di 6 anni che vive in una famiglia vulnerabile di 5 figli.nonostante il suo stato di disabilità (cieca) fin dalla nascita ha bisogno di essere studiata come tanti altri bambini, durante il nostro incontro con questa bambina ci siamo emozionati da lei quando ci ha detto che questi genitori non vogliono che possa studiare da allora lei è cieca in questo momentobisogno di andare a scuola.Considerando il bisogno espresso dal bambino, la nostra squadra avrebbe dovuto identificarlo in modo che potesse essere registrato a scuola per questo bambino.

Nonostante lo stato di disabilità, i bambini meritano gli stessi diritti degli altri bambini nella loro discriminazione.
