🌟 Team Spotlight – Valerie Brooks
Since 2019, Valerie has been a valued part of Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan – Yorkton, bringing passion, dedication, and heart to everything she does. ❤️
After moving to Yorkton, Valerie was looking for meaningful ways to give back to her new community. Already familiar with the impact of Habitat for Humanity, she knew right away this was something she wanted to be part of—and we’re so glad she did.
Today, Valerie plays an important role as a grant writer and board member, always willing to step in, support, and make a difference wherever needed. Her commitment helps build more than homes—it helps build opportunities for families to thrive. 🏡
✨ Fun Fact: At 56, Valerie is still riding her own motorcycle and enjoys camping and motorcycle trips with her husband and friends.
Valerie shares that the Yorkton chapter is one of the most caring and dedicated groups she has ever worked with. The support extended to partner families and the strong sense of camaraderie within the team make it truly inspiring.
“It’s one of those meetings you genuinely look forward to attending.”
Together, we’re building strength, stability, and self-reliance—one family, one home, one volunteer at a time. 💙💚
