As we prepare to gather in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day 2026, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Painted Hand Community Development Corporation for their generous support as our main event sponsor.

National Indigenous Peoples Day happens on June 21st. We will be hosting a celebration and day of family fun, including a free bbq lunch at 63 King St E, here in Yorkton.

Events like this are made possible by the kindness and commitment of community partners who help create opportunities to come together in celebration, learning and connection.

Always going a GREAT job !!

Community of Kahkewistahaw…
Welcome Unit 6, our newest addition to our Community Safety Patrol.
The expansion into a full size SUV gives us more flexibility in the service we Provide to our Community.
Tonight it will join our Expanded Team , working with the RCMP to ensure the Kahkewistahaw Graduation Night memorable and safe. The RCMP will be conducting roadside checkstop at an undisclosed time and location. Have a great weekend and stay safe.
