Installation and Upcoming Exhibition Alert!

AuLaura Worthington our INSPIRE Coordinator Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils is busy installing her first solo exhibition, Impressions Of Fae, at the Community pARTners Gallery.

Impresions of Fae (2026) is a collection of 13 mixed media works that shows the artist’s love
for the fantastical. From fairies, mermaids and witches this exhibit aims to show a variety of mythical, and magical beings as the artist believes them to be. Each rendition of fantastical
creature has not been defined as real; the artist chose a variety of mediums to show their
vast artistic ability. This show invites the viewer to see the creatures of Giovanedomi that may not be found in their everyday life.

Throughout the exhibit the artist favors rich blues and greens to show the potent essence of
life in this world. The artist shows various aspects of the world as seen in the gentleness present in the Fawn and the Butterfly, majesty in Oberon and curiosity in the Sprites. The artist depicts some more commonly forgotten aspects of fantasy as presented in the “Unicorn” who can be seen purifying the water and the evil that exists in a rendition of the Japanese winter witch Yuki-onna. Impressions of Fae depicts the wondrous land of Giovanedomi inspiring the young and their imagination

The exhibition will be on between May 16 - June 25.
