The Yellowknife Shoebox Project We are a registered charity that collects and distributes gift-filled shoeboxes to women impacted by homelessness in Canada.

Working with members of the community, we enhance self-esteem and reduce feelings of isolation for women in crisis.

Last weekend, we delivered 110 gift boxes between YWCA NWT (slide 2) and Yellowknife Women’s Society (slide 5) 🎁🎉

The past few months have been full of emails, fundraising, shopping, packing, inspecting, and handwritten notes - all made possible by an amazing community.

THANK YOU to everyone who played a part in making our very first Holiday Gift Drive a success. Thank you to our auction donors and bidders, online donations, the sharing of posts, drop-off locations, in-kind donations and of course, our volunteers❣️
