Rudy Needs a Home! 🏠

Rudy has been with us for a while now, and as much as we love having him around, we’d really love to see him get the chance to experience life outside the shelter. Whether it’s a foster home for now or a forever family to call his own, Rudy deserves a place where he can settle in, feel safe, and be someone’s very special boy.

At almost 5 years old, Rudy is a handsome northern gentleman with the cutest pink nose, the sweetest eyes, and so much love to give. He’s become quite the staff favourite, and it’s easy to see why!

Rudy absolutely loves his people. He’s always happy to spend time with you, is never one to turn down a good snuggle, and loves being involved in whatever you’re doing. He’s the kind of companion who would happily keep you company throughout the day, and remind you that there’s always time for a cuddle. 💛

He’s also got an adventurous side! Rudy loves to run around in our off leash runs, is a big fan of a game of fetch, and he’d make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys getting outside and keeping active. After he’s had a chance to stretch his legs, he’s more than happy to settle in beside you for some quality snuggle time.

Rudy is also continuing to work on his socialibility around other dogs. He’s made some progress, and we’re especially excited that he’s recently made his first two dog friends! He’ll still need patience, thoughtful introductions, and continued support, and for now, he’d do best as the only dog in the home.

We’d love to see Rudy get the opportunity to settle into a home, decompress, and enjoy the simple things that shelter life just can’t offer. A foster home would give him a much needed break and help us learn more about how he settles into a home environment. And if you’re looking for a forever companion, Rudy has so much potential to become an incredibly special part of your life. 🐾
