www.aurorafiddle.com Aurora Fiddle Society promotes fiddling in Yellowknife and and throughout the North Slave region.

We offer week-end workshops 3 - 5 times/year, with professional musicians from the North and across Canada providing the instruction. These workshops provide fiddling development opportunities for people of all ages and skills. Instruction is provided for beginners (never touched a fiddle before) to advanced levels. Many of our members also attend fiddling workshops in other areas of Canada - from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia to British Columbia, and points in-between.

🌞We'll be playing at Ramble and Ride this weekend and asking any and all Fiddle Society folks to bring an instrument and JOIN US!

👏On Saturday, August 1st we'll be jamming from 2-2:45 at the Cultural Crossroads stage. We would love to have you join and play along.

🎻Fiddle friends,

🌞This summer, Alice Twa will lead three Fiddle Jams at the Yellowknife Aquatic Centre! These jams will have a Celtic focus.

📆They will take place on Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30pm on July 22, August 5 and August 19.

✅All players, styles and instruments are welcome. Hope to see you there!
