The ADAPT Fund (Accelerate Digital Adoption Projects for Tomorrow) provides funding to eligible NWT registered businesses for digital adoption projects, including website development, e-commerce, online payment systems, and digital inventory or sales tracking.
Funding is distributed on a first come, first served basis until the annual budget is exhausted.

Public Notice: Temporary Road Closure for Emergency Vehicle Operations Training

The City of Yellowknife advises residents that temporary road closures will be in effect on portions of Osprey Road and Falcon Road from tomorrow, August 29, to Tuesday, September 1, 2026, for emergency vehicle operations training conducted by the Municipal Enforcement Division.

The training supports the City's ongoing commitment to emergency preparedness and public safety. Access to the NWT SPCA will be maintained throughout the exercise.

For public safety, barriers and traffic control signage will be in place. Residents travelling in the area are reminded to respect all road closures, obey posted signage, and use alternate routes where possible. Members of the public may hear and see emergency vehicle lights and sirens throughout the training period.

The City thanks residents for their patience and cooperation.

The High Performance Athlete Grant helps eligible NWT athletes pursue excellence by providing financial assistance for expenses such as training, travel, coaching, equipment, and competitions outside the territory.
