Nothing could stop the young bikers of Hay River from showing up for the Bike Rodeo this past weekend!

A quick move indoors by the Hay River Fire Department kept everyone warm, dry and ready for a fantastic day of biking, learning and community fun.

What a great couple of days at the 2026 Arctic Development Expo in Inuvik!

It was wonderful connecting with so many residents, businesses, and contractors and talking all things energy. We had some great conversations, from helping a homeowner explore ways to lower high electricity bills to discussing ECM pumps with a local contractor.

Whew, Summer is here and it is hot! 🥵

Summer also means renovation season, and if you’re thinking about replacing the siding on your house, have you also considered adding more insulation to your exterior walls while you’re at it?
