Nothing could stop the young bikers of Hay River from showing up for the Bike Rodeo this past weekend!

A quick move indoors by the Hay River Fire Department kept everyone warm, dry and ready for a fantastic day of biking, learning and community fun.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Arctic Energy Alliance booth. We loved connecting with so many families and sharing ways to save energy.

What a great couple of days at the 2026 Arctic Development Expo in Inuvik!

It was wonderful connecting with so many residents, businesses, and contractors and talking all things energy. We had some great conversations, from helping a homeowner explore ways to lower high electricity bills to discussing ECM pumps with a local contractor.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth! While this year's ADE has wrapped up, we're always happy to keep the conversation going. Drop by our new office above the post office to chat about energy-saving opportunities for your home or business. We'd love to see you!

Whew, Summer is here and it is hot! 🥵

Summer also means renovation season, and if you’re thinking about replacing the siding on your house, have you also considered adding more insulation to your exterior walls while you’re at it? Additional insulation can make a big difference in helping to keep your home cool during heat waves, and warm during the winter.

Did you know that we have rebates available for insulation upgrades? See the link in the comments for more info.
