Chronic Pain Group September 3rd at 1:30pm at the Baker Community Centre. Everyone Welcome the Chronic Pain Support Group. Our speaker is Jennifer Skelton. Movement and pain educator.

Advocacy Meeting September 2nd at 1:30pm

Wednesdays 12:10 to 12:50. Free of charge

Yoga with Moira ($10 per class)

Good Morning Everyone:

Today's Seniors Chair Yoga is being moved to the YOGA Studio at the Avens Pavilion for today Aug 26th.

The front door is open and the room is located on the second floor of the Pavilion, turn right and it is just down the hall.

I will meet everyone at the front door of the pavilion just to make sure.

This is a Sneak peak on what Our amazing Fundraising Team has put together for the Silent Auction. This will be held at the Old Johnsons Supply Building.
All the proceeds raised will go to the YK Seniors Society to help continue with all the programs that you have all come to love.

The Silent Auction money will be for the YK Seniors’ Society to be able to continue to run the programs that you have come to love.

FRIDAY July 24th 2026

Welcome to this Fridays Lunch. Thank you all for coming.

A celebration of Gladys' life will be held at Sǫ̀mbak'è Park on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow at the Baker Community Centre. Please leave your black clothes at home. We are not mourning a loss—we are celebrating the brightness that was Gladys.

Gladys will be interred at Lakeview Cemetery in Yellowknife in a private family gathering.
Those wishing to honour her memory are invited to make a donation to the Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation, the Yellowknife Community Foundation, Yellowknife Seniors Society, or another charity that reflects her lifelong commitment to serving others.
