Wynyard School of Dance

Wynyard School of Dance Welcome! We provide qualified instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, modern/contemporary, acro and hip hop for children, teens and adults.

The Wynyard School of Dance was founded over 50 years ago by a group of parents who wanted their children and other Wynyard youngsters to experience training in dance. Since then, enrolment has increased and the school has moved from various temporary quarters in church basements and school gyms to its own studios in the Civic Centre basement and to the upper level of the Curling Rink. We offer cl

asses to all students ages four and up. Our season operates from September to May, with a full time winter program. The instructional and performance programs are directed by:

Zoriana Dolhova ❤️

Zoriana began dancing in Ukraine at just 5 years old and later joined Wynyard School of Dance at the age of 14. Her favourite style of dance is Musical Theatre. One of her most memorable dance moments was winning the Intermediate Dance Off at Stars of Tomorrow with her contemporary group — an achievement she’ll always cherish. Zoriana says she will miss her teammates and all the incredible people she had the opportunity to dance alongside. In the future, she plans to attend Sask Polytech to study Graphic Design.
Zoriana, we are so proud of the beautiful dancer you have become. We wish you nothing but the best in everything ahead. Best of luck in your future — we will miss you so much! 🤍💙

Jade Lamont ❤️

Jade began dancing with Wynyard School of Dance at the age of 9, and since then has become an incredible part of our studio family. His favourite styles of dance are Hip Hop and Musical Theatre, where his energy, personality, and passion for performing have always shone brightly on stage. Jade says what he will miss most is competing alongside his teammates and the unforgettable feeling of being on stage doing what he loves. Looking ahead, Jade plans to continue pursuing Hip Hop and Musical Theatre, while also following his dream of becoming a writer for television. We are so proud of all he has accomplished and can’t wait to see where life takes him next. Jade, you will be missed at the studio, and we wish you nothing but the best in everything ahead. 🤍💙

Lexis Hague ❤️

Lexis Hague began dancing with the Wynyard School of Dance at just 3 years old, and over the years has become such an important part of our dance family. Her favourite styles are Musical Theatre and Tap, where her personality and passion always shine on stage.
When asked what she’ll miss most, Lexis shared the laughs at practice, her pointe group’s endless excuses to avoid wearing their shoes, and the incredible support from all of the dancers. Some of her favourite competition memories include the time she and Ag almost missed going on stage, winning the Intermediate Dance Off in Contemporary this season, and being told she has what it takes to make it in Toronto. She says competitions brought everyone closer together, and she is so grateful for the memories and friendships she’s made along the way.
This fall, Lexis plans to attend the University of Saskatchewan to pursue Education. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and know she has an amazing future ahead of her.
We will miss you so much, Lexis, and wish you nothing but the very best. 🤍💙

Agenais Prime ❤️

Agenais began dancing with the Wynyard School of Dance at just 3 years old and has been a valued part of our dance family ever since. Her favourite styles are Lyrical and Jazz, where her grace, strength, and passion for dance have always shone brightly.
When asked what she’ll miss most, Agenais shared that it’s the feeling of having a second family at the studio — a place filled with friendship, support, and so many unforgettable memories. One of her favourite dance moments was receiving a Golden Ticket in Humboldt for Grease and celebrating that exciting achievement with her team.
This fall, Agenais plans to attend MC College in Edmonton to pursue hair styling. We are so proud of everything she has accomplished and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her.
We will miss you so much, Agenais, and wish you all the best in everything ahead. 🤍💙
