Thank you all so much for coming out last night to the Wymark School Playground Fundraiser!! We had such a fun night together as a community! We are working on figuring out the total raised, and will let you know as soon as we can! But we truly appreciate your support!!

Wymark staff and students would like to thank our families and community members for coming out to cheer on our Wolverines today! It felt kind of great to compete on our home turf again! All the best to those athletes moving on to the next round! 🐾

Friday's Rollkuchen, Reading and Arbuz (AKA Watermelon) was a tremendous success! Mennonites of Russian-German descent typically call watermelon "Harbuz" (or "Arbuz"), which is a word derived from the Russian and Ukrainian terms for the fruit. In Plautdietsch (Low German), a specific center slice of the fruit was sometimes fondly referred to as the "obraumtje"!

We would like to thank the SCC for their hard work in making such a delicious treat, as well as so many family members for coming to enjoy some time with their children and grandchildren, enjoying this favorite cultural snack, and some reading time, together!
