We’re looking for a Clothing Support Volunteer to help during our Food for Friends program!

Hours are Monday & Wednesday from 9:00–11:00 a.m.

This volunteer will help members access clothing, keep the clothing area organized, and make sure everyone is following the clothing limits for each visit.

It’s a simple role, but an important one in helping things run smoothly and making sure our members feel welcomed and supported.

If you’re friendly, organized, and enjoy helping others, we’d love to hear from you!

What difference can $20 a month really make?

More than you might think.

A $20 monthly donation may feel small, about $5 a week but over the course of a year, that becomes $240 supporting people right here in our community.

That support can help us provide things like:

- Food staples and school snacks through Food for Friends
-Homemade breakfasts and lunches at The Sharing Table
-Everyday essentials like hygiene and cleaning supplies
-Hot meals, showers, laundry and other basic necessities
-And support for our programs wherever the need is greatest

At Operation Sharing, we see every day how small acts of generosity add up.

When you choose to give monthly, you're also giving us something incredibly valuable: consistency.

Knowing that support is coming each month helps us plan ahead, respond to changing needs and continue showing up for people across Oxford County.

You don't have to make a huge donation to make a difference.

Become a monthly donor through CanadaHelps and help us continue building a community where everyone has access to connections and supports.

Come by and say hi!

International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) is observed annually on August 31, bringing communities together to remember those lost to overdose, support those who grieve, and raise awareness about overdose prevention.

Leading up to IOAD, the Oxford Mental Health and Addictions Action Coalition (OMHAAC) invites community members to attend local events across Oxford County:

📍Museum Square, Woodstock | Aug. 25 | 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
📍Operation Sharing, Woodstock | Aug. 26 | 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
📍Tillsonburg Mall | Aug. 27 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Together, we can help reduce stigma, increase awareness, and support our community.
