Fredericton City Council moving a step closer to new Aquatic Centre.

This week Fredericton City Council voted to fund half of the design costs for the regional facility - as long as other communities and the province agree to fund the remaining costs.

Artistic Swimming Fredericton is very happy with how the All Abilities program has been going! One of our swimmers who is in the program for their second year has been improving tremendously, and has been enjoying practices more and more each week. The mother of this swimmer shared a few words about her daughters progress and the program that we would like to share:

"Great news that Sadie had her best session EVER at her All Abilities Artistic Swimming Program today at UNB.
Although we haven’t been able to watch her in the program since COVID began, I am so thankful this sport has been made inclusive and extremely thankful to her coach Hannah who has made it all possible. We are fortunate that she is able to participate in this sport at this time.
School is her only means of socializing with peers and this activity is particularly important to her as an outing and activity.
Apparently she did a routine to the My Little Pony song. 🌈
I am feeling proud and thankful!"
