On August 15th, MACC partnered with Planet Youth Woodstock & Woodstock First Nation Health Centre for their "Celebrating our Diversity" Festival. It also marked the 4th and final piece of this summer’s Make a Difference Month, and our youth clients worked hard on their Cultural Showcases displayed inside the NBCC gym. Outdoors, MACC clients celebrated cultures from around the world through art, music, and food. Our very own Colin Brewer, MACC Youth Language Developer, also took the stage (last photo).

It was a beautiful day of gathering, conversation, learning, and appreciation. Thank you to all clients and community members who came out to celebrate!

Our MACC Bingo Night was filled with excitement and fun moments with our MACC Clients. While we didn’t take home the jackpot this time, we’re happy to share that one of our MACC clients Lav Elle won a coupon from Rotary Bingo, Club of Woodstock 🎉👏

Water Line Flushing💦

The Town of Woodstock will be performing routine water line flushing in Ward 4, starting Monday, September 14th, and continuing throughout the next few weeks. This important work is essential for maintaining the quality of our drinking water and ensuring that the water system operates effectively.

Here’s what you should be aware of:
📌 During the flushing process, you may notice temporary reduced water pressure or discoloration in the water.
📌If you do encounter discolored water, simply run your cold water tap in the tub for a few minutes until it returns to normal.
📌To avoid staining your clothes, please refrain from doing laundry during the flushing hours.

⏰Flushing will occur between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we strive to keep our water system clean and safe.

It was an amazing day of basketball, teamwork, friendship, and community spirit last weekend. We are so grateful to all of our MACC Clients and Members who helped make our Basketball Tournament such a wonderful success.
