The Atlantic Geoscience Society (AGS) brings together earth scientists from universities, government institutions, the mining and petroleum industries, and consultants in the Atlantic Provinces. Its membership includes professional geologists, students, and interested members of the public. It is an entirely volunteer association with a small membership fee. AGS is affiliated with the Geological A

ssociation of Canada (GAC) , the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). AGS is a member society of the Canadian Federation of Earth Sciences (CFES).

Hot air balloons and cool rocks?! We're in! You'll find AGS in the New Brunswick Geology Tent at the Atlantic Balloon Fiesta in Sussex next weekend!

The NB Geology Tent will be open:
Friday September 5th: 12-8pm
Saturday September 6th: 10-8pm
Sunday September 7th: 10-3pm

Make sure to stop by the AGS booth at the Nova Scotia Gem and Mineral Show in Parsborro this weekend! ⚒️

The event runs from 10-5 Friday, Saturday and Sunday and includes many wonderful displays and vendors.

Admission is $7.00 per day or you can get a weekend pass for $15.00. Children 12 and under are free!

Location is the Lions Recreation Center, 210 King Street, Parsborro.
