My name is Donna Paisley, I am hosting the 3rd Annual – In the Valley – Breast Cancer Fundraiser, and this year’s event will be held on August 1st, 2019 in support of the Cancer Patient Navigator Fund. The Cancer Patient Navigator Fund at the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville is designed to assist patients going through cancer treatment, where by 100% of the funds donated assist patients with the crushing costs of cancer, treatment travel, medications, medical equipment, prosthetics and more.

My dear friend and celebrity Rhayne Thomas, is coming from Las Vegas, NV to perform at this year’s event. Rhayne has volunteered in the cancer arena since 1976, is a survivor and continues toraise breast cancer awareness across North America. Rhayne is a Vocalist, Author, Inspirational Humorist, The Prune Whisperer and walked the runway during 2018 and performed in 2019 during New York Fashion Week in support of Project Cancerland (www.projectcancerland.org) and Anaono.com.

I know this event is a couple of months away, but I love to come in prepared, giving myself plenty of time to organize and promote not only the event but the people and companies that are supporting the event. I am asking for donations of silent & live auction items, raffles, survivor giveaways, door prizes, monetary and in-kind donations that we can use to invite everyone in our surrounding communities to the event, really anything and everything we can get our hands on, including services for the event.

We will be promoting this event through a vast amount of social media so, when you donate, we will be acknowledging your company during our posts, as well as live posts during the events.
