The Media Makery
The Wolfville Media Makery is a community-based library project dedicated to creating safe learning environments where the Annapolis Valley Region can learn multimedia skills. We are a part of the Annapolis Valley Regional Library and funded by Technologies Nova Scotia. Currently, we are primarily focusing on offering free multimedia education and mentoring. Some of the workshops we offer are Music Business 101, Pixar In A Box - Film Development, Drones, Photography 101, and Audio Production 101. Our goal is to continue to create platforms that enable anyone, no matter their social class, age, gender, ethnicity, or skill level to create art, and grow their opportunities in the multimedia and music industry.
