🏒💜 U9 Team Bonding! 💜🏒

Pizza, laughs, and a whole lot of team spirit! 🍕😊

Our U9 Southern Shore & Goulds girls got together yesterday evening at The Stone Ducky in Bay Bulls for a little team bonding.

It was a great chance for the girls to get to know each other, share some laughs, and start building the friendships and team spirit that make hockey so much fun! ✨

We’re looking forward to seeing these girls continue to grow, learn, and have fun together throughout the season!

A big thank you to the Stone Ducky NL for having us! If you’re heading to the rink, be sure to stop in and check them out! Great food and the perfect place to grab a bite after the game! 🍕🍔

U15AAA Female Kenny Memorial Tournament

The Southern Shore Minor Hockey Association is proud to welcome the U15AAA Female teams to our rink for the Kenny Memorial Tournament, taking place October 30 to November 1.

This tournament holds a special meaning as we come together to honour the memory of Stacey-Lynn Kenny ❤️

As we welcome teams, families, and fans to the Southern Shore, we remember Stacey-Lynn and the lasting impact she has left on those who knew and loved her. May this weekend be filled with great hockey, sportsmanship, and community as we honour her memory.

Wishing all the teams the very best of luck!
May you play with heart, hustle, and pride 🏒

🏒 Tryout Season - By the numbers 🏒

U11, U13 and U15 Minor & Female tryouts are complete, teams have been finalized and most have competed in their first tournament of the season and ready for the regular season to begin!

With Thanksgiving here, we thought it was the perfect time to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make it happen.

Below is a summary of our numbers…….and those numbers only tell part of the story!

Our volunteers were at the rink, on the benches, on the phone, behind the computer, washing jerseys, organizing teams, doing up schedules, answering questions, solving problems and doing all the little things that make hockey happen.

Without our volunteers, NONE of this would be possible. ❤️

To our Executive Members, Evaluators, Coaches, Managers, on ice helpers and every volunteer who gave their time, energy and heart…..THANK YOU.

This Thanksgiving, we’re especially thankful for our hockey community and for everyone who continues to show up for our kids.

Happy Thanksgiving from our hockey family to yours! 🦃 🍁
