Taking Charge! is an adult learning and literacy centre supporting single parents and women on EIA who want to upgrade their education or earn their Mature Grade 12 Diploma.

They offer:

Education upgrading and Mature Grade 12
On-site licensed and subsidized daycare
Counselling services

Support to help you succeed academically, personally, and professionally

The students who enter Taking Charge! often have experienced seemingly insurmountable barriers to achieving their goals. Your help can provide a student a chance to make a positive change in their life, and greatly improve their quality of life for themselves and their children.

Our students need your help to achieve their goals. Donations help us provide counselling, emergency funds, transportation, and flexible resources to ensure our participants stay in school, build their independence, and make the positive changes they need to live the lives they want.
