As we wrap up August and bring our 2026 Summer Youth Program to a close, we are reflecting on an incredible month of learning. While the kids had a blast playing, our focus leaned heavily into meaningful education to help them build critical thinking, confidence, and real life skills. Our staff had an absolute blast interacting, educating, and playing alongside every single child this summer.

Most people think our farm trip was just about petting animals and eating pizza. But the truth is, we brought our youth here to step completely outside of their comfort zones.

By facing new environments and trying new things, our kids learned to problem-solve, build real-life skills, and grow closer as a team. Every single laugh, challenge, and pizza slice helped them form deeper friendships and build a true sense of belonging!

Art day was an absolute blast! Our kids sparked their creativity by crafting custom kites, the girls created beautiful designs on canvas, and everyone wrapped up the day playing out on the playground. 🎨🪁✨

Beyond the fun, it was about personal growth. Working on these projects helped our youth build essential life skills, express themselves, and form deeper social connections with one another, strengthening their true sense of belonging in our program! 💖🙌

What an unforgettable month! From exploring The Leaf, playing soccer at the Recplex, and splashing in water zones, to making kites at Art City, visiting the farm, and learning from local firefighters and police, our kids did it all. 🚒🚓🌱

Beyond the fun, these trips helped our youth build essential life skills, form deep social connections, and develop a true sense of belonging. Thank you to everyone who made these past two months such an empowering experience for our future leaders! ❤️🙌

This week, our older kids took over the playground, cooled down in the splash zone, and wrapped up the day with a high-powered soccer match. While these outings are the highlight of their week, every game and splash serves a much bigger purpose. 💦⚽

By stepping outside the routine, our youth are developing essential personal skills like teamwork, leadership, and communication. These shared moments create space for meaningful social interactions, helping them forge lifelong friendships and build a deep sense of belonging within our program. 📈❤️We aren’t just creating fun summer memories; we are investing in their personal growth and community connection every single week!

This week's outing was the absolute highlight of the summer so far for our younger kids! They had the ultimate blast cooling off in the splash zone and running around the playgrounds and water zones. The pure excitement on their faces said it all—and the best part is, even more adventures await them! 🏖️✨

Meanwhile, our older youth stepped up to a brilliant challenge. They participated in an engaging educational session, working in teams to brainstorm and then confidently present their ideas in front of the whole group! 🎤📝From water-filled laughter to inspiring leadership skills, our youth look forward to this day every single week!

Today, our Summer Youth Program split up for some tailored activities. Our younger kids participated in an important, gentle informational session learning about safe boundaries and good touch/bad touch. Meanwhile, the older kids took over the outdoors—fueling their energy with hopscotch, skipping, basketball, and football! 🏀🏈We wrapped up the perfect day by coming together to share a wonderful lunch. It is an outing our kids look forward to every single week, balancing vital life lessons with pure childhood joy!

This week’s Summer Youth Program outing was packed with non-stop energy, sportsmanship, and big smiles. We kicked off the fun playing out on the Masjid grounds before heading over to the Recplex for some high-powered soccer matches on the turf!

⚽🔥Seeing the children connect, stay active, and build friendships is truly the best part of our week. They count down the days until this outing, and it never disappoints! 🙌❤️
