Today, let’s clear up a few common myths about supporting the Lions Foundation.🦁

🔹Myth number one:

‚I have to live in Manitoba or Northwestern Ontario to help.
Not true! The Lions Foundation is a registered Canadian charity. That means anyone, anywhere in Canada and from abroad, can support our work and help make a difference.

🔹Myth number two:

The donation needs to be large to qualify for a charitable tax receipt.
The truth? Any amount matters, and we actually issue charitable tax receipts for donations starting at just twenty dollars.

🔹And myth number three:

‚Small amounts don’t really make a difference, so why bother?
The real truth? Every single dollar counts. Small gifts add up to create a massive impact, and more than that, they show your care.

👉🏻No matter what your financial capabilities are right now, we are so incredibly grateful for any support you can provide!

Lions Foundation of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario is a charitable organization that has been helping people across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario for over 45 years🦁

We are about people. About those who live far from Winnipeg and have to travel here for medical treatment - we take care of comfortable accommodation during that time.

About children whose families cannot afford eyeglasses - we help them see the world clearly.

About those who are facing hearing loss - we are here to support them every step of the way.

By the way - this September we are celebrating our 45th anniversary! 🎉 It is a significant milestone, and we are incredibly proud of every single year of our work.

And we are celebrating in a very special way - on September 19th, we invite you to our anniversary gala evening Masquerade Mystique at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg. It will be an evening of elegance, inspiration, and support for those who need it most. More details in our website!
