St. Norbert Community Centre Painting with Pauline
Classes – September 23 to December 9, 2026
Fee: $50.00 for Fall session
Painting with Pauline art classes for those wanting to learn to paint or wanting to paint with other artists and better their skill. Pauline is a St. Norbert resident and has been studying and painting herself since 2007. She started with oils and has since diversified into watercolor, acrylic, and pastels. The group meets on Wednesdays from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Bring your supplies, your reference photo, and come be part of a fun creative group. If you have any questions at all contact Pauline at [email protected] No classes October 21st and October 28th.
Please note, registration is mandatory for both regular participants and drop-in participants. If you're wanting to register as a drop-in, select the payment option Cash or In-Person.

St. Norbert Community Centre Skating School
We are pleased to be offering Skate Canada's official learn to skate program CanSkate! All our classes are taught by NCCP certified coaches. This fall we will be offering
Pre-CanSkate ( 2-4 years old Parent & Tot), CanSkate (4 - 12 years old), Adult/Teen & Intro to Figure Skating.
Who is CanSkate for?
It is a dynamic group learn to skate program. All ages and stages are taught on the session but split up into 3 stations. We maintain a 10:1 skater to coach ratio.
What is taught?
The CanSkate program teaches Balance, Control and Agility skills broken down into 6 Stages with ribbons and badges awarded for each stage accomplished. The skills covered in the program prepare skaters for a lifetime of fun skating and a future in Hockey, Ringette, Speed Skating, or Figure Skating.
What Equipment is required?
1) CSA approved Hockey Helmet. (Must have a valid CSA Approved sticker on the back)
2) Proper fitting skates (hockey or figure skates) with good ankle support. We do NOT recommend plastic or adjustable skates. Remember to get the skates sharpened prior to the first class.
3) Mittens or gloves and warm layers of clothing that allow for good movement.
Proper fitting equipment is essential to a positive skating experience. Skate sizes do not run the same as shoe sizes so be sure that your child is wearing the correct size. We highly recommend a skate that laces up (NOT clips, Velcro or dials to tighten). The laces allow the skate to be tighten properly to provide support.
Please note that in addition to the posted class fee there is also the $60.70 Skate Canada Membership Insurance fee that applies once per season September 2026- August 2027 for each on ice participant.

Join Our Weekly Rec Hockey Fun!
Eager to hit the ice for some casual hockey action? Our weekly rec hockey sessions are just what you're looking for!
What to Expect: 20 Minutes of Skills & Drills: Enjoy a relaxed environment to refine your hockey skills with fun and engaging drills.
20 Minute Scrimmage: Jump into a friendly game where balanced teams ensure everyone enjoys the thrill of the match!
Perfect for players with basic skating experience. Secure your spot and enjoy an exciting, stress-free hockey experience!
Players are required to provide their own full equipment set.
U7 Prerequisites: Skaters must be able to stand up independently and move forwards across the ice.
U9 Prerequisites: Skaters are to have completed Stage 2 Canskate or Equivalent (able to skate forwards & Backwards and stop on command)
Need to learn how to skate first? Join our CanSkate Program lessons.
We are in need of parent volunteers to assist the program on ice. Please email [email protected] if you are willing to help.
