Congratulations to the Manitoba Mennonite Heritage Society and all project partners on the official opening of the new historical kiosk at Hespeler Park in Niverville!

Unveiled on Manitoba Trails Day, the kiosk helps preserve and share the rich history of the Crow Wing Trail and Peace Trail, while connecting residents and visitors to the stories of early Mennonite settlers. Thank you to everyone whose hard work and dedication brought this meaningful project to life.

🎉 Exciting day for Manitoba trails!

This morning, we officially announced the recipients of the 2026 Recreational Trails Grant Program. A total of 19 projects were approved, with $201,238 in funding being invested into trail development and enhancement projects across the province.

A big thank you to Minister Moyes, MLA Billie Cross, and Anders Swanson for joining us and helping celebrate these important investments in Manitoba's trail network.

And don't forget, tomorrow is Manitoba Trails Day! 🌲🥾🚴‍♀️ Get outside, explore a local trail, and celebrate the incredible places that connect our communities and inspire adventure.
