Summertime slab-ness!

Whiteshell Provincial Park offers a number of excellent mountain bike trails, incorporating significant sections of granite rock surface thanks to presence of the Canadian Shield. This creates a unique riding experience, transitioning from forest flow to technical terrain, to smooth rock exposure.

Step into a piece of Manitoba history 🌲🪵

Deep inside Nopiming Provincial Park sits Trapper Johnson’s historic cabin at Beresford Lake. When the 1930s gold rush ended and the town pack up, Jack "Jake" Johnson stayed behind—living off the land, running his trap line, and keeping the wilderness spirit alive.

“Nopiming” means entrance to the wilderness, and standing here, you really feel it.
